  We came on board from Philadelphia. This is the second time for us to be in Japan. We have been enjoying our time for visiting garden at Kyoto and also shopping. We were attracted by the traditional Japanese design, so this time we are planning to buy sundries of Kimono patters. Japanese are so kind for helping us much of occasions. Such Japanese character is the charm of this country.

  We enjoyed Kobe Beef when we had pulled in Kobe port. The beef was such delicious that itself became the highlight of this trip. Then we went to Kinkakuji Temple at Kyoto. The beauty of visiting Japan is not only for the very traditional scenery but you also could enjoy refined modern dishes. We are planning to take a walk around Sankei-En garden at Yokohama. The clean and beauty of Japanese sceneries provide us peace in mind even for having a walk.

  This is the first time for us in Japan. We are impressed for the cleanness of the cities. Back in home we often enjoy Japanese dishes; however, eating experience in Japan, we have real enjoyment of the dishes. Surprisingly enough our kids really like Ramen-peoples dish. We had visited many of gardens at Kyoto including a dry rock garden that was really impressive. I felt this is the symbol of Japanese beauty. People in Japan are so kindhearted.

  When we had ported at Kobe, we also had excursion tour to Osaka and Nara. There was a chance feeding deer at Nara and I had never seen such friendly deer. The Great Buddha at Nara was a real impact, left us a good memory of this trip. Attending the traditional tea ceremony, we once again felt the depth of Japanese culture. Japan is safe and clean, we had one relax trip.

  I love journeys by ship because you can get hotel-style service, and there’s no need to carry your luggage around.
  The ship’s interior was clean and the staff were friendly. The food was also delicious so I was really satisfied.

  I had a wonderful time relaxing on board. It’s the ideal trip for rest and relaxation.
  Individual sightseeing and days on ports were great. I really appreciated the tourist information at the ports.

  I had a great time watching shows, getting to know fantastic people from all kinds of countries, and enjoying interesting conversations.
  A real asset of this trip is that the long voyage lets you get to know the other passengers almost like family.

  We have an experience living in Tokyo before, so we were looking forward to fully enjoying a cruise trip this time. Japan is a country where we dreamed of coming back for a long time. Japanese food such as sushi, sashimi and yakitori are fantastic and the unique culture has been nurtured there. The advantage of traveling by a cruise ship is that you can enjoy lovely country Japan comfortably. We are very much satisfied.

  I visited Japan for the first time and I had an admirable feeling for its clean streets and kind people. I went to Meiji Shrine which gave me a deep impression of solemnity. At one of the ports of call, the local people welcomed us with traditional dance in the ceremony, a memorable event it was.

  Japanese people are really warm and friendly, and I had fascinating experiences in every port of call. Entering and leaving ports was also really enjoyable.
  I’m definitely going to come again, and I’d like to stay for longer next time.

  The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park was my number one highlight. It’s a wonderful place to visit.
  The on-board attractions were also far better than I’d thought.

  Places in Japan I visited in the past were larger communities than I expected and there were amazingly many things to see. Cruise travelling also enables you to go around Asian countries like the neighboring China in a single voyage that is an advantage of it.

  One time, I lost my hat during a sightseeing tour. A person who found my hat picked it up and had run up from a distant place to deliver it to me. I was moved, "How wonderful Japanese people are!" In Kamakura, I bought a pair of chopsticks with beautifully illustrated pattern. There are many souvenirs with beauty you can buy and that is another good point of Japan.
